Sweet Billy Pilgrim limited release to celebrate Record Store Day.

In celebration of Record Store Day, Sweet Billy Pilgrim are releasing a limited edition very special vinyl single - available only in participating independent record stores.

Side 1 is the track Future Perfect Tense, taken from the Mercury Music Prize nominated album Twice Born Men (released on David Sylvian's label - samadhisound).

Sweet Billy Pilgrim will be appearing as themselves in the forthcoming brand new series of Channel 4's hit comedy The I.T. Crowd written by Graham Linehan (due to be shown in May 2010). What better way to show the unique bond that they forged with the programme than by inviting one of the lead characters, Jen, into the studio to sing along with the band, in her own unique style and character. If you know Jen, then this is a duet that is not to be missed, and is a must-have rarity for fans of SBP and fans of the show.

Jen is played by the award-winning Katherine Parkinson. She is also a very successful theatre actress and has played many leading roles in most of London's most innovative and happening theatres. Last year she starred in the Olivier Award Winning Cock, at the Royal Court which was a massive critical success. Katherine is currently filming a fourth series of The IT Crowd and will shoot the film version of The Seagull (which was also a hit at the Royal Court and co-starred Carey Mulligan, Mackenzie Crook and Kristin Scott Thomas), this summer.

Dont' forget that SBP will also be performing at 3pm on 17th April, at Rough Trade East (along with Ash, Caribou and may others).
